We offer events, tips and discounts for students who are driven, career-focused and know when to have fun. KPMG Workshop
MACS in conjunction with KPMG would like to invite you to attend a workshop at Monash Caulfield on Wednesday the 19th of March covering both tips and guidance for on line applications as well as interviews. The workshop will be interactive with representatives from HR and KPMG divisions in attendance to answer questions and provide advice on the process. KPMG is accepting applications for their 2009 graduate program now and applications are to be submitted on line at kpmg.com.au.When: Wednesday 19th of March (Week 4)

The Institute of Chartered Accountants is holding its annual "Employment Evening" which is an event that has been created as an opportunity for you as a final year student to meet face-to-face with, and impress, graduate employers before they start hiring.
When: Tuesday 18th March (that's next Tuesday!)
Time: 5:30pm - 7:30pm
Where: National Gallery of Victoria (180 St Kilda Road, Melbourne)
Dress: We want you to impress the employers! Business attire is required.
The event also provides you with the opportunity to learn about the Chartered Accountants program and how it will benefit your future career. Food and beverages will also be available at the event.

WEEK 2 EVENTS
MACS BBQ (Semester 1)We had a great turn out with HEAPS! of members filling their tummies with some quality sausages cooked by some of our fantastic MACS committee members! Big thanks goes out to all the committee members who managed to cook the hundreds of sausages for all of you under that hot sun! For all those who missed out on the free food, don't worry there will be another big BBQ in week 2 of Semester 2! And for all those interested, more information about the weekly lunches will be coming out soon.
WEEK 3 EVENTS
MACS Graduate Careers Cocktail Evening MACS is holding our famous Career events for all students that are interested in meeting the HR of big accounting firms, business advisory firms, financial banks and Accounting Institutes. This is a chance for students to find out what career opportunity there are out there. There will be finger food and drinks provided (wine, champagne, soft drinks & water).Where: Level 1, H Building - Caulfield (H1.16)
When: Tuesday 11th of March
Time: 6:00 - 8:00 pm
Dress: Smart Casual / Business Attire
Cost: FREE! For all MACS Members (Membership Card must be shown)
D-Day Deloitte, one of the Big 4 accounting firm in Australia is coming to Caulfield to hold a workshop for students. The workshop helps students write a good resume, learn interview tips and what employers are looking at in the application questions. Free finger food and drinks will also be provided!
Spots are limited, so please send your MACS Membership Number, with your Full Name, Primary Contact Details and a short paragraph on why you deserve to be part of the D-day.
Closing date for applications ends at 5pm Wednesday 12th of March.
